There is a magnificent grassland where a mountain waterfall cascades down into a wide river. On the river's bank, in the distance, stands an abandoned windmill, a relic of human engineering from earlier times. On the other side of the river, there is a dense forest. It is a place of beauty and enchantment where a unique community thrives. Inhabitants of this magical realm are tiny gnomes, standing at only 2 feet tall. They have created a distinctive community in this breathtaking environment. The diminutive gnomes reside in enormous pumpkin houses, sustain themselves with mushrooms from the grassland, possess innate magical abilities, and wield magic bows and arrows for protection. They also harness the power of the wind to meet their energy needs. Alex is a young child with grand dreams, initially blending in among the majority of dwarves in the community.
In the spring, while exploring with other community members, Alex stumbled upon an ancient machine. Although it appeared worn and outdated, upon closer examination, it held the promise of restoration. Alex quietly observed everything and worked hard to learn.Later on, the dwarves constructed another windmill, increasing their capacity for harnessing wind energy. They embarked on an ambitious project to establish a pumpkin farm to ensure a stable food supply. However, on the map, there was also a marking for a massive but unsafe drawbridge, which once connected both sides of the river but had been abandoned. The community's residents also began to consider storing food in factories or stores and strengthening the construction of pumpkin houses to defend against potential enemy invasions. At the same time, the Magic Factory project was launched, bringing more magical resources to the community. Just at this time, a giant, 8-foot-tall golem suddenly appeared in the community, triggering panic among the people. The arrival of the golem made the community's residents uneasy, especially since the giant bird was their natural predator. Whenever the giant bird felt hungry, it would fly in search of the dwarves as its prey. The community's people began to contemplate the possibility of communicating with the golem in hopes of finding a peaceful way to coexist.
Alex's desire to communicate with the giant golem and gain influence within the dwarven community stems from his deep longing for freedom and a sense of purpose. In the world of dwarves, where strength and power traditionally dictate one's status, adults often exploit the younger dwarves, forcing them into laborious tasks like building pumpkin houses in the magical factory. This harsh reality can be daunting, and it left Alex feeling trapped and powerless. Despite being several years away from reaching adulthood and unlocking the transformative magic abilities that come with it, Alex was unwilling to endure the oppression any longer. He believed that by establishing a connection with the giant golem, he could offer the community a valuable advantage, something that transcended physical strength. This would not only improve his own status but also potentially change the dynamic within the dwarf society. In the eyes of humans, children are often seen as innocent and carefree, but in the magical world of dwarves, the struggle for power and survival can lead even the youngest members to seek a way to assert themselves and find their place in the community. He is an individual with an extreme longing for freedom, and he tried to unite other dwarves.
Unfortunately, no one supported him, and he became isolated and helpless. But he never gave up.
The most beautiful thing in this community is the central giant cherry blossom tree, which blooms with beautiful flowers every year. Meanwhile, the drawbridge has been repaired, which is a good omen, and the beautiful tree shines and drops weapons, bringing hope to the people of the community. The community began to establish a training camp to train the children on how to protect themselves and the community. A charismatic young girl encouraged many to join her in ambushing the giant bird and created a safe route map to their destination. Alex also had his own plans as he noticed that most of the attention was focused on dealing with the giant bird. He attempted to gain power on his own path. Fortune favored the determined, and Alex accidentally discovered the crystal while digging underground. Not only did he consume it, but he also gained telekinetic abilities. Of course, he felt quite apprehensive when he consumed it, as he had only heard of the ancient legend: lucky dwarves would possess their own destiny crystal. He believed that he needed to wear it to change his fate, so when the leader ordered the confiscation of all members' belongings, he hid the crystal carefully on his person. But when the leader was about to take it away, he made a bold decision and swallowed the crystal, turning a potential disaster into a stroke of luck.
However, Alex decided not to tell anyone and waited for the right moment in silence.
Slowly, summer arrived, but ominous signs appeared in the community. The first pumpkin house was destroyed, and the leader was injured. The community decided to initiate a training camp to teach the children how to use bows and arrows to protect themselves. They received an abundance of arrows, and every child had their own.Attempts to establish a safe children's leisure area failed, possibly due to a lack of resources or other issues. Meanwhile, on the other side of the river, a massive crater appeared, catching the community's attention. The supply of mushrooms began to decrease, and the community had to search for new food sources in the forest. They discovered a type of Christmas food called "colorful pinecone decorated fruit," providing them with a new source of sustenance. Some members of the community began to demand a solution to the problem of the leader who had lost his house, but no one was willing to help. In the end, the leader had to plant his new house himself, and although it was difficult at first, the little dwarves eventually felt compassion and came to assist him in completing the house.
For Alex, this was a good sign as the leader had been injured and lost his own house. Although some dwarves eventually came to the leader's aid, it was clear that his authority had gradually declined. Many people were no longer following his orders. Alex reassured himself to be patient, as things were changing rapidly. The community decided to dig into the meteor crater in search of more resources, but this project was cut short as the children wanted to explore elsewhere. In the crater, they discovered fossils of an ancient sea tribe, sparking their curiosity about the past.
